Benito Villarreal Tajonar


Benito Villarreal Tajonar currently serves as Chief Business Development of CH. Prior to becoming CBD at CH, Benito Villarreal worked as Vice President of Investments and Risk Management at CH.



Prior to joining CH, Benito worked as an Investment Banker specialized in the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), Debt Structuring and Real Estate Transactions in a variety of sectors, at KPMG in Mexico City. Before joining KPMG, Benito worked also as an Investment Banker at Actinver Casa de Bolsa in Mexico City, where he executed in both Equity Capital Markets (ECM) and Debt Capital Markets (DCM) teams.



Benito has a degree in Chemical Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana Ciudad de México, where he gained both "Summa Cum Laude" and "Academic Excellence" awards as Top of the Class Student. He belonged to the Alumni Society as Vice President and Treasurer, where he held and organized several congresses and forums regarding renewable energies. Benito focused on finance and economics by the end of his major and after graduating, he attended to a Specialty in Finance from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México ITAM.
