Daniel Braatz is the CEO of CH. Previously, Mr. Braatz worked as an investment banker, focusing primarily on structured finance, related to securitization of assets and risks associated with financial acquisitions, Project Finance, one-off transactions, mergers and acquisitions and debt structuring.
Daniel Braatz has ample experience in the Mexican public sector, advising on diverse government entity operations, such as the securitization of INFONAVIT's assets, the monetization of assets for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, infrastructure projects, the privatization of public assets and the structuring of different public-private partnership agreements. He was the external advisor to INFONAVIT and Hipotecaria Total (HITO), participating in the structuring of their capital market activities and attending explanatory roadshows.
Ignacio Gutiérrez Sainz is currently the CFO of CH. Before joining CH, he worked as an investment banker for a renowned bank in Mexico. In over 20 years, he and his team developed a strong track record in mergers and acquisitions, debt structuring and capital raising transactions. He covered various sectors, across both the public and private sector, for companies in the United States, Mexico and Latin America.
As an investment banker, Ignacio Gutiérrez focused on business development through the implementation of diverse financial strategies, as well as through continuous analysis and monitoring of different sectors and markets. These strategies drove the promotion and consequent execution of different specialized transactions, credit structure and asset securitization.
Jesús Gómez Dorantes serves as the COO of CH and has extensive experience in the Mexican financial and mortgage sector. In 2002, he joined the Institute of the National Housing Fund for Workers (Infonavit), where he was responsible for risk management, finance and administration, strategic planning and the issuance of CEDEVIS (fiduciary stock certificates). Mr. Gómez was responsible for the largest Mexican mortgage-backed bonds’ issuance program, from 2007 to 2009.
Before joining Infonavit, Mr. Gómez held management positions at Grupo Financiero BBVA Bancomer (GFBB), including Director of Investor Relations, Deputy Director of Financial Projects and Deputy Director of Strategic Planning.
Benito Villarreal Tajonar is the Director of Business Development at CH. Previously, Benito Villarreal served as Vice President of Risk and Investing at the Company. Prior to joining CH, Benito was an investment banker focused on mergers and acquisitions, debt structuring and real estate transactions in a wide variety of sectors for KPMG Mexico.
Before joining KPMG, Mr. Villarreal also worked as an Investment Banker at Actinver Casa de Bolsa, where he executed trades on both the capital and the debt markets. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana and specialized in finance and economics in his final semesters. After graduating, he completed a Specialization in Finance at the ITAM (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México).
Patricia Montiel Font is the Legal Director of CH and has extensive experience in the administration and disposal of credit portfolios for various financial institutions. Previously, she was a partner at Montiel Font y Asociados, S.C., as well as at a law firm specializing in corporate and financial law, Casares, Castelazo, Frías y Zárate, S.C.
Throughout her professional career, Ms. Montiel has worked with financial institutions such as the Institute for the Protection of Bank Savings (IPAB) and Chévez, Ruiz, Zamarripa y Cia., S.C. She obtained a Bachelor's Degree in law from the Universidad Iberoamericana and studied a Master’s Degree in Humanities at the Universidad Anáhuac México Norte.
